Mary and her son Jay are excited to have moved into their own apartment in early May. The family lived in the downstairs IHN apartment after Yolanda's family moved out, and within a couple weeks Mary landed a job in a local retail store. During her stay she also received a promotion. After much anticipation from the entire IHN community, baby Josiah finally arrived on April 1st! Cassandra is lucky to have help from his big brother and two big sisters. The family moved into their own apartment a few weeks later. We are grateful for the generosity of so many people who helped smooth this family's transition.
Congratulations to Yolanda and her two sons, who moved into their own apartment in February! They had been living in the DIHN studio apartment underneath the dayhouse. The joy on all their faces the day of the move-in was priceless!
A day of volunteering in her field while at IHN ultimately led former guest Alisha to a full time job as a dental assistant! Alisha, her sister Adrian, and Adrian's three daughters, who moved into supportive housing for a couple months after leaving IHN, have now moved into their own home!
