In addition to volunteering through your congregation, we welcome individuals and service organizations who are interested in volunteering with Durham IHN.  Here is a list of some of our current needs:

-   Stay over night with our families one night per quarter, preferably with one of your friends.

-   Team with another volunteer to cook and serve dinner once a quarter.

-   Become our volunteer webmaster.

-   Find and help us implement a really good (preferably free) online volunteer collaboration tool.

-   Be part of our marketing committee, helping to write content for the web, newsletters, etc.

-   Help sort through and organize donated clothing once a quarter.

-   Hold a garage sale that benefits IHN.

-   If you belong to a faith community or service organization, consider working with your organization to develop a long term relationship with IHN.

-   If you have a truck, put your name on the list of who we can call when we need help moving families out of IHN into permanent housing.
