Because DIHN utilizes existing community structures to house our families and the volunteer support of 30 local congregations, our program is very cost efficient. However, as a non-profit we rely on donations from local congregations, community organizations, and individuals to continue providing quality support and service to our families. We accept both in-kind and financial donations.
In-kind donations are crucial both to the day-to-day operation of our dayhouse and for families graduating from our program. See our wish list for common requests.
In order to process and store your donations with care, staff needs to limit the days we can accept donations to TUESDAYS AND FRIDAYS, 9 AM to 4:30 PM. We will accept donations other days and times if you call our office, 919-682-2846.
